A single-herb liquid extract of dried bark of Albizia julibrissin, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

He huan pi is the bark of the Persian silk tree, taken from the trunk and larger branches rather than the flowers, which are a separate article. The tree is a mimosa relative with very finely divided twice-pinnate leaves that fold shut at night, and heads of long pink silky stamens instead of ordinary petals. The bark is greyish-brown outside with pale lenticels, and peels in long strips.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.
